Some of you may recall Mike Tirri and Reno Morella were planning a trip to Yosemite National Park for early
summer 2011........... Well, it is time to sign-up before all of the space is gone!
Trip to Yosemite:
Start Friday June 10th and return on Sunday June 12th.
76.4 mi – about 2 hours 15 mins
We will depart Oakdale at 10:00. We’ll head south on the Oakdale-Waterford Hwy to, Hwy CA-132 E Yosemite Blvd,
just east of Modesto to Hwy 49 (Coulterville) then head south on Hwy 49 to Mariposa for a fuel stop. Then to CA-
140 to the hotel.
HOTEL
We reserved 25 rooms at the Cedar Lodge at a rate of $102.00 plus tax per night. Due to availability or lack of we
need to secure these rooms as soon possible.
Room rates and information:
1-2 persons $102.00 plus tax
3-4 persons $112.00 plus tax
Cut-off period is 30 days prior to arrival date.
RESERVATIONS: Individual guests must contact Cedar Lodge to reserve their own rooms. They will be asked to
provide a credit card number, which will be charged for their first night's stay (room and tax) as an Advance Deposit
at the time the reservation is made.
CANCELLATION REQUIREMENTS:
Routine cancellation policy will apply, which is as follows:
• $7.50 fee for all cancellations.
• Reservations cancelled within seven days of scheduled arrival date will incur a charge of $7.50
• plus 25% of the Advance Deposit mentioned above.
• Reservations cancelled after 4:00 p.m. on scheduled arrival date will forfeit entire Advance Deposit.
Schedule:
Friday afternoon/evening: Once we arrive we’ll just hang out at the Cedar Lodge or perhaps some will want to
head to the park and have a late lunch at the Ahwahnee lodge.
At about 6:00PM we'll have the BACC Yosemite reception (appetizer platters and soft drinks will be available)
Saturday In The Park
Admission to the Park
Saturday morning After breakfast we’ll head out to the park, about 9 miles from the hotel .
Ranger Weendoggie will provide several suggestions on what some groups might enjoy doing in the park.
Additional details will be provided by Ranger Weendoggie.
Saturday night
We’ll drive to the Yosemite View Lodge (about 7miles from our hotel) for a family style dinner banquet,
The restaurant bar is down stairs from the our banquet room for drinks also if you chose to bring a bottle of wine for
your dinner there is a $10.00 corking fee (To be paid individually, not included in the registration).

Photo opt at lake Don Pedro.
Fuel/Lunch and Good by stop are planned in Oakdale.
